Los Grammys se pueden haber pospuesto, al igual que varios conciertos en Chile, pero hay algunos eventos de la música que aún persisten. Uno de ellos es iHeart Radio Music Awards. Este es el noveno año que se lleva a cabo en celebración a los artistas más escuchados en la radio y en la app de iHeart durante el 2021.
La ceremonia será en Los Ángeles, Estados Unidos. La categoría más peleada es la de "El artista más transmitido y escuchado por la radio". Esta categoría se refiere e incluye a aquellas canciones que los oyentes no cambiaron al escucharla salir en la radio o que dejaron entera en la app. Adele's "Easy on Me," Olivia Rodrigo's "Driver's License," "Montero (Call Me By Your Name) de Lil Nas X, "Levitating" de Dua Lipa, Silk Sonic "Leave the Door Open" y Ariana Grande "Positions" son las más populares dentro de esta sección.
El show también contará con premios votados directamente por los fanáticos, como Mejor grupo de fanáticos, Mejor letra, Mejor canción de portada, Mejor video musical, TikTok Bop del año y el primer Cantautor de TikTok del año.
La votación social comenzó el 27 de enero, y se cerrará el 15 de marzo a las 11:59 p. m. para todas las categorías. Los fanáticos pueden votar en Twitter utilizando la categoría adecuada y los hashtags de los nominados o visitando iHeartRadio.com/awards.
