Este fin de semana largo está ideal para realizar una maratón de series o películas. Más allá de los rabnkings de Halloween que puedas encontrar, también está el listado recientemente publicado por la BBC donde se eligieron a las 100 mejores películas de habla no inglesa.
El área de BBC Culture juntó a un equipo de 209 críticos –de los cuales el 45% fueron mujeres– y definió una amplia gama de estilos y temáticas, desde el cine de la nueva ola francesa en la década de los 50, con Cleo from 5 to 7 (1962), hasta otras de culto más contemporáneas como Y tu mamá también (2001) y El Laberinto del Fauno (2006).
Del total de cintas se encuentran películas con 19 idiomas distintos. La más antigua es Man with a Movie Camera (1929) del ruso Dziga Vertov, mientras que la con el estreno más reciente es Amour (2012) de Michael Haneke. El primer puesto del ranking es para la cinta que muestra a guerreros samuráis defendiéndose de un grupo de bandidos en el Japón del siglo XVI, Seven Samurai (1954).
